In this workshop, participants will use movement and dance exercises to critically examine issues relating to whiteness and femininity that they would like to better understand or transform. The workshop aims at increased action, awareness and accountability. There will be time for reflection, warm-up, plus group and individual movement exercises.
The workshop is open to all interested participants, including beginner, advanced or intermediate movers. The workshop focuses on whiteness and femininity and is co-led by three cisgender white women. However, anyone who wants to engage this work is welcome regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation etc…
Please dress comfortably for movement.
